Mesotherapy is a technic invented in 1952 by Dr. Michel Pistor where medication is injected into the mesoderm, the layer of fat and connective tissue under the skin. In 1987, the French Academy of Medicine recognized Mesotherapy as an inherent part of traditional medicine which uses a very tiny needle (0.4 - 0.6 mm or the size of eyelash) to inject into the mesoderm painlessly.
